A member of the CANPower family, this unit can be connected to other CANPower units by CANbus to run in tandem with them, or can be installed as a stand alone component.

Easy to install and fully installer programmable with very simple software through the optional interface unit. Standard unit comes with default settings which will suit most applications.

This advanced digital Run Lock permits unattended engine operation. Once activated, the ignition key can be removed, and the engine stays running. If the handbrake is released, or the footbrake is used, the engine stops. The key must then be used to restart the vehicle. This prevents unauthorised use of the vehicle.

Typical Application:

Unattended vehicle operation – Vehicles left with equipment switched on can flatten the battery. The engine is left running to help avoid this, but a key left in the ignition raises the risk of theft. With the Run-Lock, the key can be removed and the engine left running. The engine can also be made to switch off after a set timeout period, in case the vehicle has been forgotten.
